Autonomous Rover and CanSat Development

Formed in 2020, the Autonomous Science Target Recognition and Analysis (ASTRA) team is working to construct a rover capable of autonomous navigation and remotely testing for the presence of life. The team’s current goal is to construct a rover for the international University Rover Challenge (URC) and hopes to participate in 2021.

The international engineering competition brings together 90+ teams to compete to be the best at fulfilling the requirements of the mission given.  Teams work with hardware, software, and electrical components in order to design and build a working payload over eight months. simple builder
